Sting is coming back to the Las Vegas Strip. On Oct. 13, Caesars Entertainment and Live Nation announced “STING 3.0,” an 11-show residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace split between March and October 2027, and the first presale opens today.
Key Takeaways
- Eleven shows at The Colosseum: March 4, 6, 7, 10 and 12, plus Oct. 14, 16, 17, 20, 22 and 23, 2027. Every show starts at 8 p.m.
- Presales run Oct. 14โ16, and the general public on-sale is Saturday, Oct. 17 at 10 a.m. PT through Ticketmaster and the Colosseum box office.
- It’s a stripped-down trio show: Sting with longtime guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas, reworking his best-known songs.
What’s Happening
The residency grows out of Sting’s STING 3.0 World Tour, which trims his band down to three players. Instead of a big production, the format puts the focus on new arrangements of hits from his solo catalog and his years with The Police. Maas has also played with Mumford & Sons and Maggie Rogers, according to the announcement.
This is Sting’s second run at The Colosseum. His “My Songs” residency played 22 shows there between 2021 and 2023, and Caesars describes those dates as sold out. Casino.org notes that Sting once said he had turned down residency offers because he still considered himself a touring artist, so a return engagement says a lot about how well the first one went.
Here is the ticket timeline from the Caesars announcement:
- Sting fan club presale: Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 10 a.m. PT through Friday, Oct. 16 at 10 p.m. PT (sign up at sting.com).
- Caesars Rewards and Live Nation presale: Thursday, Oct. 15 at 10 a.m. PT through Friday, Oct. 16 at 10 p.m. PT.
- General on-sale: Saturday, Oct. 17 at 10 a.m. PT on Ticketmaster.com and at The Colosseum box office.
A limited number of VIP meet-and-greet packages will be offered for each show. Ticket prices were not announced. A companion live album, “STING 3.0 LIVE,” is out now digitally, on CD and on vinyl.
What It Means for Las Vegas
The 4,300-seat Colosseum keeps stacking big names. The announcement lists LISA, Tim McGraw, Nikki Glaser and David Spade among the venue’s other headliners, and the October 2027 dates land in the fall convention and event season, when Strip room rates can climb. If you’re flying in for a show, lock in tickets first and then watch for hotel deals, since Caesars properties often run room offers for Rewards members.
For locals, the Caesars Rewards presale on Oct. 15 is the one to know. Signing up for Caesars Rewards is free, and it gets you a crack at seats before the general public.
What to Watch Next
Watch for ticket prices once the presales open, whether VIP packages sell out quickly, and whether more dates get added if demand is strong. Check our Vegas show calendar for what’s playing in town right now, and the Comp Board for current hotel deals.
