Driver’s tips for Vegas trips

  • Check the resort fee. Most Strip hotels add one per night. Our Comp Board lists rates that waive it.
  • Avoid big event weekends like the F1 race (Nov. 19–21) and CES in January unless that’s why you’re coming. Prices spike.
  • Sunday to Thursday is cheapest. Friday and Saturday nights can cost two or three times as much.
  • Getting from the airport: rideshare pickup is on the parking garage level at Harry Reid International. The Strip is usually 10–20 minutes away.
